Although I was saddened to not see any Cornell men in the 1500 final, the 800 was a pretty fun race to watch--second only to the 400IH, which is obviously outside of my own athletic comfort zone. Princeton leads by 7 at the time of this post, with the relays still remaining. And what's this?
A men's 4x800? When did this happen?
Basically need a DQ or false start at this point. Pretty good fight, though.
ReplyDeleteWhile we're on the subject, let's all take this moment to remember the greatest Heps video of all time:

I had completely forgotten about that. Man, people really hated Jimmy. I still think LBP's celebration indoor 2006 was significantly worse- I'm pretty sure he did a fist pump followed by a victory lap.
ReplyDeleteI still feel pretty angry that the Dartmouth fans had no consequence for such poor sportsmanship.
ReplyDeleteJust in case anybody was wondering what kind of shape Sam is in heading into this marathon, I thought I'd share this pic he snuck into. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/for/2370867577.html
ReplyDeleteI have a great photo of LBP's celebration. If memory serves, he finished maybe 2feet in front of Andy Miller - and his celebration was to point both fingers to the stands at his left, right in miller's face. He screamed something while doing this. At the time I didn't think anything of this, but now...
